A simple application to convert Spout ⇄ NDI video streams in real time.

🎯 Purpose
Designed to use Spout in a 2-PC streaming setup, by making a local Spout stream available over the network.

⚡ Performance
In my experience, this solution is less resource-hungry than using the DistroAV NDI plugin for OBS.

⚙️ How it works

1. Click the “Add” button in either:

   • the Spout → NDI column, or

   • the NDI → Spout column.

2. An input field will appear.
   Enter the name of the Spout or NDI source, then confirm by clicking the purple check button.

3. The application will automatically create:

   • an NDI source when converting from Spout → NDI, or

   • a Spout source when converting from NDI → Spout,
     using the same name as the input source.

4. All created sources are saved automatically and will be restored the next time the application is launched.

Une application simple pour convertir des flux vidéo Spout ⇄ NDI en temps réel.

🎯 Objectif
Permet d’utiliser Spout dans un setup de stream à 2 PC, en rendant un flux Spout local accessible sur le réseau.

⚡ Performances
Dans mon usage, cette solution s’est révélée moins gourmande en ressources que le plugin DistroAV NDI pour OBS.

⚙️ Comment ça marche

1. Cliquez sur le bouton « Add » dans l’une des colonnes :

   • Spout → NDI, ou

   • NDI → Spout.

2. Un champ de saisie apparaît.
   Entrez le nom de la source Spout ou NDI, puis validez en cliquant sur le bouton de confirmation violet.

3. L’application crée automatiquement :

   • une source NDI pour un flux Spout → NDI, ou

   • une source Spout pour un flux NDI → Spout,
     en utilisant le même nom que la source d’entrée.

4. Les sources créées sont mémorisées et seront automatiquement restaurées lors des prochains lancements de l’application.
